I was supposing to blog on the day before yesterday or yesterday. But I couldn’t really find the time to sit down and blog.. So here it goes about Avril’s concert on 29th of August....
The time of the concert was stated to be at 8.30pm. So I was thinking of getting there as early as possible since I’m not having any class on that day, moreover the ticket I bought was free standing. But unfortunately, my cousin who’s going with me was having a test on that day itself from 2pm till 5.15pm. So I’ll just have to wait till her test over before we could start our journey there. Everything started to delay because I was suppose to pick her up at college at 5.15 sharp but I was late because I have to buy our dinner before we go. As you know, I’m always late for everything. By the time we reached the stadium, it’s already 7.30pm!!!
It just started to drizzle when we reached there. But thankfully we brought umbrella. Upon entering the stadium, the guard there told us to keep our umbrella. After we have gone inside, each of us were provided with a raincoat. All of us look so silly with that raincoat on, and it’s extremely stuffy and hot with that stupid raincoat till my whole body was soaking wet not because of the rain, but because of my own sweat!!
She started to perform at around 9.15pm. Luckily the rain has stopped by then so I can remove that silly raincoat. The concert was great, and her singing rocks as well. But throughout the performance, I was struggling to see. My view was blocked by the front people as I was standing on the 3rd or 4th lane from the front as a result for being late. Majority of the audience consist of guys. They’re standing at the front and they’re damn friggin tall!!!! I even have a hard time trying to capture some decent pictures of hers with my lousy shooting skill as there were so many hands in front of me nonstop waving. =.=””
The concert ended pretty quickly at 10.30pm. =( Despite of that, the concert was really fabulous and spectacular. Avril can really sing well during live. It’s such a great experience and memory. I hope she would come again to Malaysia for her next world tour. =)
PS: For the Merdeka countdown yesterday in Sunway, It sucks big time!! No fireworks WTH??!!
